ABOUT
JULIANA MONTGOMERY is an international observer and lover of stories shared through moving images. She has traveled in over 35 countries and her production experiences in the media industry have spanned 4 continents. Juliana has spent nearly a decade working with highly lauded global advertising agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, GREY, and most recently, Droga5. Her commercial broadcast portfolio spans work for Nike, Levi's, Target, CoverGirl and Toyota. Her credits include a 2009 Emmy Award as associate agency producer for Coca-Cola’s ‘Heist’.
Juliana was a Fulbright Fellow to the Czech Republic where she created, shot, and produced the first phase of a documentary that explored images of women during Czech communist and post-communist eras. She went on to become a Henry Luce Scholar to Singapore where she worked with the Asian Film Archive and HBO Asia.
Juliana's interests in film, advertising and women's rights aligned during a 6 month Nike Foundation project in Addis Ababa. There, she served as Senior Creative Producer on an unprecedented marketing campaign in support of adolescent girls in Ethiopia.
Juliana is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Spelman College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies.
